The Virginia Tech Hokies have lost just one game so far this season and, while they aren't being talked about as the best team in college football, they also weren't expected to allow the Duke Blue Devils to compete with them. That's exactly what is happening on Saturday afternoon, however, as Duke has put the Hokies on upset alert after pulling to within four points on the scoreboard midway through the third quarter.
Duke hasn't exactly done anything amazing as the score is just 14-10, but they have forced Virginia Tech quarterback Logan Thomas to throw two interceptions and stuffed the Hokies only fourth-down attempt.
Virginia Tech hasn't scored thus far in the second half after getting touchowns from Eric Martin, via a pass from Thomas, and Josh Oglesby in the first half. Duke's scores have come on a field goal from Will Snyderwine and a rushing touchdown from Desmond Scott.
