Texas Tech Vs. Iowa State Final Score: Cyclones Whip Red Raiders, 41-7

Call it a hangover after a big win over Oklahoma or just call it a good old-fashioned whipping: Texas Tech was hammered by Iowa State on Saturday night, 41-7. This one was never close, with Iowa State racing out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and never looking back. And remember, this is an Iowa State team that had yet to win a Big 12 game this year.

Jared Barnett completed 14-of-26 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 92 yards and a score. The ground game was the story for the Cyclones, though, with two players breaking the century mark on the night. James White picked up a game-high 138 yards and a touchdown and Duran Hollis carried the ball four times for 101 yards and a score.

Seth Doege scored the only touchdown of the game for the Red Raiders, taking it in himself from eight yards out.
