And with that, we're heading to a second overtime in Los Angeles. Stanford found the end zone in an old-fashioned way, as it typically does, with the first score of overtime. It was a whole lot of power with a nifty trick play mixed in. USC, on the other hand, went straight for the jugular.
Somehow, Robert Woods was left singled up, and Matt Barkley found him. Barkley checked prior to the snap, Woods wiggled free and USC tied it up with the 15-yard touchdown pass. It was quick and deadly.
After one overtime in Los Angeles, Stanford and USC are knotted at 41. Stanford was on offense first, so USC will take the ball to open the second overtime.
