Oregon Vs. Cal: Keenan Allen And Zach Maynard Get Bears The Lead

After Oregon took a 14-6 lead over Cal, the teams decided to trade failed drives and 3-and-outs. LaMichael James dazzled with a couple of more long runs, getting up over 100 yards already before half-time. Cal on the other hand has a nice running back of their own in Isi Sofele who kicked out a 34-yard run on the Bears scoring drive to take the lead.

Zach Maynard made some face palm worthy plays, including taking a huge sack, but got into a groove and drove the Bears down the field. Zach Maynard connected on a couple of throws to his brother, wide receiver Keenan Allen. Maynard threw the ball in the endzone and Allen made a terrific catch for the touchdown.

Jeff Tedford then decided to go for two, with more than 6-minutes left in the half to bring the lead to 3, but Maynard missed on the pass.
