The Aggies and Red Raiders are both scoring in bunches and allowing nearly as many. Should be a fun one.
Texas Tech has long had a reputation for running and gunning. But this rivalry has taken on a new flavor now that Texas A&M has proven just as capable of moving the ball up and down the field.
The Red Raiders are once again doing their thing. Their roughly 519 yards per game is the ninth highest total in all of FBS and their 37.5 points per game is the 27th best mark. The Aggies are even better, though. They are compiling 525 yards a game (7th) and are scoring a rather eye-popping 47.5 points per game (4th).
Of course, neither defense is exactly looking stout right now. The Red Raiders have given up 68 combined points in their past two games, while the Aggies have allowed 67 points in two straight second-half collapses.
Game date, time: 7:00 pm ET, Saturday, October 8
Location: Jones AT&T Stadium, Lubbock, Texas.
TV channel: FX
Spread: Texas A&M by 9
