Florida Vs. LSU: Gators List Jeff Driskel, Jacoby Brissett, Tyler Murphy Atop QB Depth Chart

The Florida Gators released their game-day depth chart, but anyone hoping for clarification about their starting quarterback will be disappointed. As Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post noted on Twitter:

Florida depth chart lists starting QB as Jeff Driskel OR Jacoby Brissett OR Tyler Murphy. Clears up that mystery.

Driskel was expected to start all week before reports of that he might be limited with an ankle injury. Brissett has yet to see action this year, but the team is apparently prepared to burn his redshirt no matter who starts -- ESPN's College Gameday reported earlier today that both Driskel and Brissett are expected to see action. Now Murphy, a redshirt freshman who dressed for every game in 2010 but never saw action, is technically in the mix, although the smart money is on this remaining a two-horse race between Driskel and Brissett.

For analysis on what Driskel and Brissett will bring to the Gators' offense, read Andy Hutchins at Alligator Army. Here's a copy of the depth chart, courtesy of Lieser:
