The Florida St. Seminoles have had a hell of a time with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons as of late, falling three times in a row before Jimbo Fisher took over. This year's FSU team is getting newly challenged by Wake, trailing 9-7 late in the second quarter.
Two Noles turnovers, including a Clint Trickett interception (yep, E.J. Manuel didn't make the start after all) have narrowed Florida State's margin of error, but it's not like they've been playing great football otherwise, except for that run defense. Wake has 145 yards through the air already, but has yet to enter the black on the ground.
Highly recruited freshman FSU running back James Wilder posted his first career touchdown, though, so that's pretty good.
