Oklahoma Vs. Texas Halftime Score: Sooners Dominating, 34-10, Behind Landry Jones

Oklahoma got an interception return to give it a 27-3 lead in the Red River Rivalry. Fozzy Whitaker gave Texas its first touchdown of the day on a return of his own. And then the Oklahoma offense obliterated all semblance of momentum for the Longhorns.

Whittaker's 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown cut Oklahoma's lead — swollen by 17 points off three Texas turnovers — to 27-10 with a few minutes left in the second quarter. But then Landry Jones led the Sooners on a seven-play, 83-yard drive that extended the lead to 34-10, and Oklahoma's defense got another stop to finish a first half of dominance.

Jones has thrown for 305 yards and three touchdowns in just two quarters of work, and Ryan Broyles, Jaz Reynolds, and Kenny Stills all have at least four catches and 50 receiving yards.

Whittaker's return also covered more yardage than the Texas offense has accrued all day. Case McCoy and David Ash, who threw the pick-six to Demontre Hurst immediately before Whittaker's return, have combined to lead the Longhorns to just 87 yards so far.
