Clemson Vs. Boston College Final Score: Tigers Lose Tajh Boyd But Stay Unbeaten

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Clemson Tigers reached 6-0 and are now bowl eligible after trouncing the Boston College Eagles, 36-14, but the bigger concern for Tigers fans is the health of star quarterback Tajh Boyd. Check over here for Boyd injury updates.

Other than that, it was all Clemson, all afternoon. The Tigers rumbled to a 20-0 lead before BC found the scoreboard, with Boyd putting up 316 yards until he had to leave the game. The Eagles were able to run the ball a little bit, with Rolandan Finch posting 72 and Tahj Kimble averaging 5.5 per carry, but that's kind of what happens when the other team's defense gets to play the pass all game long. Looking for bright spots here, Eagles fans.

Clemson will hope for a Boyd return in time for their game against the reeling Maryland Terrapins next week. BC gets the Virginia Tech Hokies.
