The Northwestern Wildcats haven't defeated the Michigan Wolverines at home since the 2000 season, and that was a high scoring affair, 54-51. This game might not reach that level, but at halftime, Northwestern does lead Michigan, 24-14.
Northwestern's running game has been in full force, picking up all three touchdowns. Kain Colter, Treyvon Green and Adonis Smith have each punched in the ball. Quarterback Dan Persa threw for 191 yards on 15-of-21 passing. Jeff Budzien kicked a 20-yard field goal as time expired.
Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson continued to power the Michigan offense. He's thrown two touchdown passes and had accounted for 224 of the team's 256 total yards. However, he's also thrown three interceptions. His first and third ones led to Wildcat scores and the second ended his team's chances at scoring.
