Robert Griffin III is still doing Robert Griffin III things, but Baylor has struggled with Iowa State throughout the first half. At the end of the second quarter, the Bears hold a slim 21-14 lead over the Cyclones in what's been a back-and-forth game thus far.
Griffin III completed 15 of 19 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown, thoroughly messing up his touchdown to incompletion ratio. The Baylor quarterback also added 47 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, making plays with his legs in addition to his arm. Terrance Ganaway led all rushers with 120 yards in the half. Kendall Wright caught six passes for 65 yards and a touchdown.
Steele Jantz completed 13 of 18 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns while helping keep the Cyclones close. Darius Reynolds led all receivers with four catches for 86 yards and a score. Reid Branderhorst also caught a touchdown for Iowa State.
