Andrew Luck is off to a solid start and the No. 6 Stanford Cardinal lead the Colorado Buffaloes at the half, 27-7. Luck threw for 219 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the half, leading the way as Stanford rolled to a first half lead.
Luck's one mistake came on a tipped ball that hit his receiver's hands, bounced straight up and landed in the waiting arms of a Colorado defender. It was Stanford's second turnover of the game, with the Cardinal turning the ball over on the opening kickoff, but making up for it by blocking Colorado's field goal attempt and returning the loose ball for the score.
Stepfan Taylor and Jeremy Stewart each scored rushing touchdowns for the Cardinal. Rodney Stewart collected a screen pass and rumbled for the Buffaloes' only touchdown of the game, but has been otherwise ineffective, rushing for eight yards on six carries.
