Nebraska's home Big Ten debut is going as well as its road Big Ten debut-in other words, things could be better. The Ohio St. Buckeyes lead the Cornhuskers, 17-3, in the second quarter. Running back Carlos Hyde had the most explosive play of the game so far with his 63-yard touchdown run. He had 67 yards on the ground in total. Quarterback Braxton Miller had the earlier touchdown when he connected with Jake Stoneburner for a 32-yard touchdown pass.
Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez is 8-of-8 for 53 yards, but accounts for nearly the entire team's total yardage (68). Brett Maher hit a 50-yard field goal to put the Huskers on the board in the first quarter.
This one has all the makings of another embarrassing loss in the Huskers' new conference.
