The Georgia Bulldogs improved to 4-2 on the season, 3-1 in the SEC, with a 20-12 win over Tennessee on Saturday night. Georgia built its lead in the third quarter, then hung on down the stretch as the Vols struggled to find the end zone throughout.
Tyler Bray completed 20 of 37 passes for 261 yards, but failed to throw a touchdown for Tennessee. Matt Simms was four of six for 39 yards, as well. Sims scored the Vols' only touchdown of the game, plunging into the end zone from a yard out late in the fourth quarter.
Isaiah Crowell had himself a game, carrying the ball 19 times for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Malcolm Mitchell caught three passes for 126 yards in the win. Aaron Murray completed 15 of 25 passes for 227 yards, but also failed to throw a touchdown.
