The Associated Press Top 25 won't be out until lunchtime, and the USA Today Coaches Poll doesn't come out until shortly before that. BCS standings? Not until next week. Right now, the best set of college football rankings we have is Jeff Sagarin's system. Next week, a neutered version of it will be included in the official BCS standings.
Sagarin's numbers like the Alabama Crimson Tide No. 1, though not quite by the same margin as last week. The LSU Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners form a triumvirate that's nearly three points ahead of the No. 4 Boise St. Broncos, with the No. 6 Oklahoma St. Cowboys another clear level down from the No. 5 Wisconsin Badgers.
Among the computers' biggest disagreement with humans will likely be the No. 12, two-loss Florida Gators -- who've lost to the two best teams in the country -- along with the No. 13 Arizona St. Sun Devils, No. 15 Penn St. Nittany Lions and No. 16 Texas A&M Aggies.
Division I-AA teams are included, with FCS Top 25 No. 5 Wofford moving ahead of No. 1 Georgia Southern. (FCS polls come out Monday, by the way.)
The Week 6 Sagarin top 25, though 246 teams are ranked in total:
