Oklahoma is the top Big 12 team in both the Week 7 AP Poll Top 25 and the Week 7 USA Today coaches poll. But the Sooners are far from the only team from the beleaguered conference in the college football rankings.
Oklahoma lands at No. 1 in the coaches poll and No. 3 in the AP Poll after ripping Texas in the Red River Rivalry on Saturday, and leads a pack of six Big 12 teams ranked in both polls. Oklahoma State (No. 6 AP/No. 7 coaches) is the only other Big 12 team in the top 10 of both polls.
Other ranked Big 12 teams: Kansas State (No. 17 AP/No. 18 coaches), up after beating Missouri to remain unbeaten; Baylor (No. 20 AP/No. 24 coaches), which torched Iowa State; Texas (No. 21 coaches/No. 22 AP), which plummets after falling to Oklahoma; and Texas A&M (No. 21 AP/No. 23 coaches), which has only lost to top-10 teams Oklahoma State and Arkansas.
