Stanford Cardinal tight end Zach Ertz will miss his team's game against Oregon State and could also miss the big game against Oregon.

The Stanford Cardinal are still in the hunt for a BCS Championship game bid and still in the driver's seat for a Rose Bowl bid, but their offense might be hindered a bit when they face the Oregon Ducks in two weeks. After sustaining an injury on the opening kickoff against the USC Trojans, Stanford tight end Zach Ertz is out for this week's game against the Oregon State Beavers and possibly out for the Oregon game.

Luckily for Stanford, they have two other quality tight ends in Coby Fleener and Levine Toilolo, but they regularly put all three on the field at the same time. Ertz has 22 catches for 308 yards this season and will be a big loss for the Cardinal if he is not able to play against Oregon.
