No. 10 Virginia Tech and No. 20 Georgia Tech meet in a ACC Coastal Division clash on Thursday night.

For the ninth time since 1990, and for the eighth straight season, the Virginia Tech Hokies and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will meet on Thursday night in Atlanta. This will also be the fourth Thursday night meeting between the two schools.

Georgia Tech has the nation's No. 2-ranked rushing offense, averaging nearly 330 yards on the ground per game. Quaterback Tevin Washington broke a school-record with 176 rushing yards in an October 29 win over the Clemson Tigers. Virginia Tech has country's fifth-ranked run defense, allowing less than 90 yards per game.
