Virginia Tech Vs. Georgia Tech Score Update: Hokies Hold Slim Lead In The Fourth

The Virginia Tech Hokies are in front early in the third quarter of their Thursday night matchup with Georgia Tech in what's been a back-and-forth game thus far. As it stands, Virginia Tech has a one-point lead, 27-26, thanks to a Logan Thomas rushing touchdown and failed two-point conversion near the end of the third quarter.

Tevin Washington has thrown just six passes, completing four for 98 yards, for Georgia Tech, but has rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns as he engineers the triple option offense. Embry Peeples has 84 yards on three carries, with David Sims and Preston Lyons rushing for 27 and 26 yards respectively.

Thomas has thrown for 194 yards and two touchdowns thus far, but is completing only 50 percent of his passes, 6-12. David Wilson leads the way on the ground with 125 yards. Thomas has two rushing touchdowns to go along with his two passes touchdowns on the night.
