STILLWATER, OK - OCTOBER 29: Quarterback Robert Griffin III #10 of the Baylor Bears looks to throw in the first half against the Oklahoma State Cowboys on October 29, 2011 at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Oklahoma State defeated Baylor 59-24. (Photo by Brett Deering/Getty Images)
The Kansas Jayhawks won't be able to stop Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III, but they'll hope to slow him down to avoid losing their eighth straight game.
After getting off to a hot starter, the Baylor Bears have dropped three of their last five games. The Bears rebounded last week, narrowly beating the Missouri Tigers and will look to continue to get back on track against the Kansas Jayhawks. The Jayhawks have been pounded in nearly every game in Big 12 play this year except for last week against Iowa State, losing 13-10.
Kansas has lost seven straight games, including six straight in the Big 12. The Kansas defense has given up 541 yards per game and allows an average of 45 points per game. Slowing down Robert Griffin III will be tough for the Kansas defense.
Owen over at Rock Chalk Talk points out the Jayhawks should be able to put up points on Bayor's defense:
For the first time in a little while Kansas is facing a team that is comparably poor on the defensive side of the football. Kansas still holds the edge in terms of futility, but Baylor's defense is bad enough that Kansas could get things moving in the right direction offensively.
Game date, time: 2:00 pm ET, Saturday, November 12th
Location: Memorial Stadium, Lawrence, KS
TV channel: Local
Spread: Baylor favored by 20 points
