South Carolina and Florida aren't playing the prettiest game ever. But the two SEC East foes are locked in a close game despite their relative offensive failures. South Carolina leads, 17-12, with a little less than 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
Florida got its first touchdown of the day on a Jacoby Brissett scramble in the fourth quarter that Chris Rainey set up with a long run. But the Gators couldn't tie the game on a two-point conversion attempt, with Brissett throwing a pick on the play.
Connor Shaw and the Gamecocks offense answered almost immediately with a big play of their own, connecting with Ace Sanders on a long pass to get South Carolina deep into Florida territory. Florida's defense held, though, and South Carolina could only muster a field goal to make its lead a five-point advantage.
