Which impressive statistic from the Oklahoma State game would you most like to read about? The 637 yards of total offense? The 49 first-half points that keyed a 60-point beatdown? Or Brandon Weeden's stat line: 31-of-37 for 423 yards and five touchdowns.
Because when one Big 12 team torches another by a 66-6 margin, it's kind of hard to choose which numbers are the most impressive. Even days that are normally good -- Herschel Sims had 109 yards on 13 carries; Joseph Randle had 78 and a touchdown on 18 rushes -- look almost pedestrian by comparison.
Of course, not much could make Texas Tech's 270 yards of total offense look great. Seth Doege was 25-of 43 for 169 yards, no touchdowns and an interception, as the Red Raiders' post-Oklahoma letdown continued for a third week. Speaking of Oklahoma -- Bedlam is in two weeks, and all that stands between the Cowboys and a massive showdown with their rivals is Friday's game against Iowa State.
