Baylor Vs. Kansas Score Update: Bears On Ropes Against Jayhawks

Stay connected with SB Nation

Kansas is taking Baylor to the cleaners ... in football. The Jayhawks added another touchdown in the third quarter to go up 24-3 on the Bears, and have shown no signs of letting up.

The Jayhawks converted great field position into their third touchdown on the ground, with Tony Pierson running in from 34 yards out for a touchdown to cap a 45-yard drive. And that running game, which has rolled up 243 yards on Baylor, is more than making up for Jordan Webb's two interceptions.

Meanwhile, Baylor can't do much at all on offense, going three and out after the Bears picked off Webb to keep the lead at 14 points. If Robert Griffin III wants to keep Baylor in the BCS rankings and hold on to his outside shot at an invitation to the Heisman Trophy ceremony, he may need a Herculean second half.
