SB Nation's Atlanta delegation covered WrestleMania at the Georgia Dome earlier this year. It was pretty awesome. At one point, a 250-pound man attempted an aerial maneuver that didn't go quite as planned inspired, leading a portion of the crowd to immediately recite, "YOU F----- UP."
Wisconsin's Bucky and Minnesota's Goldy would've earned just such a reaction for this moment:
As you can see, Goldy was attempting an elbow drop onto a table instead of a mere splash. First mistake. The point of the table stunt is to break the table, not to appear to deliver a particular blow to the opponent.
Actually, the first mistake came in using a table that was definitely not competition-grade -- it looks like both participants got their wind knocked out due to the table not breaking.
Most critically of all, we're attempting a tables match in the first place while Paul Bunyan's Axe sits in a sheath on the sidelines. This should be a hardcore match.
This was also the only competition that happened all game.
