The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have experienced very few bumps in the road in Saturday's game against the Maryland Terrapins. The Fighting Irish lead, 38-14, in the fourth quarter.
Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees has been accurate and sharp, completing 28-of-35 passes for 252 yards and one touchdown pass. He connected with Michael Floyd for a 19-yard score in the second quarter. Floyd has nine receptions for 89 yards.
The ground attack has also been impressive for the Irish. Jonas Gray has found the end zone twice while carrying the ball 21 times for 136 yards. Cierre Woods has complemented him with 97 yards and one touchdown.
For Maryland, Danny O'Brien threw one touchdown pass, a 13-yard pass to Quintin McCree. C.J. Brown added a 24-yard rushing touchdown early in the fourth quarter.
