Oregon Vs. Stanford Score Updates: Dangerous Ducks Gain Distance

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Stanford Cardinal are in trouble in the third quarter against the Oregon Ducks. Another Andrew Luck turnover led to another Ducks touchdown, this time a four-yard rumble by LaMichael James, whose arm fell off in that one game a few weeks ago. He's OK. It's now 36-16, Oregon.

Head here for Oregon-Stanford score updates and discussion.

The yardage game is similar (272 to 236, Oregon) and the turnover battle is even. The Ducks have been able to strike quickly, while Stanford's put together some accomplished series that don't amount to a whole lot.

James and De'Anthony Thomas have been the stars, along with Thomas. James has two touchdowns and 110 yards on 14 touches.

If Stanford can't pick up its pace while slowing Oregon's, we could be looking at another team exiting this week's top five.
