We'll have a college football bowl projections roundup Monday morning and Bill Connelly's advanced Week 12 bowl projections Monday afternoon. For now, here's an overnight look at which teams might end up where.
Last year, the Boise St. Broncos saw another BCS run dashed by a missed field goal that sent them all the way to the Las Vegas Bowl. It looks to be a similar story this time around -- if the TCU Horned Frogs can hang on for the Mountain West title, they'll take the Vegas spot, putting Boise State in the Poinsettia. Instead of the Sugar or Fiesta bid the Broncos would've likely gotten by beating TCU. Ouch.
One thing we didn't do: presume Penn State won't be invited or will choose to decline an invitation. Remember, three days ago it looked like PSU might need to cancel games. After watching Saturday's game against Nebraska, dropping that game would've been a terrible idea. Who knows, but let's give it time.
