You may like to heckle a local rival for playing its fight song without ceasing, but unless you've seen the Tennessee Volunteers in action, you have no idea. "Rocky Top" is played to celebrate the conclusion of "Rocky Top."
It's everywhere the Vols go, everywhere in Tennessee, and apparently even more relentless in Nashville. Here's Vanderbilt Commodores running back Wesley Tate, who found no refuge from the song in professor Cooper's music class (ht Anchor of Gold):
