The 7-3 Ohio Bobcats hit the road for a mid-week Mid-American Conference match-up with the 4-6 Bowling Green Falcons.
Ohio is riding a three-game winning streak that has vaulted them to first place in the MAC East standings. Sophomore quarterback Tyler Tettleton leads a balanced Bobcats offense that is averaging over 200 yards rushing and passing on the season. Tettleton has completed over 63 percent of his pass attempts for 2,455 yards with 22 touchdowns and just six interceptions, adding a team-high seven rushing touchdowns. Tailbacks Donte Harden and Ryan Boykin do the heavy-lifting in the ground game, combining for 220 attempts and 1,158 yards.
The Falcons, who have 33 freshmen and sophomores on their two-deep depth chart, enter Wednesday night on a two-game losing streak, including last week's 45-14 loss to Northern Illinois. Included in that group are sophomore quarterback Matt Schiltz, who has thrown for 2,556 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, and running backs Anthon Samuel and Jamel Martin, a pair of freshmen who have 1,005 yards and six touchdowns combined this season. Falcons junior defensive tackle Chris Jones leads the MAC with seven quarterback sacks.
