Oklahoma State Vs. Iowa State Score: Overtime On The Way After Cowboys Miss Field Goal

Maybe it's not Oklahoma State's night. The No. 2 Cowboys squandered an excellent chance to put the upset-minded Iowa State Cyclones to bed late in the fourth quarter, controversially missing a field goal with just over a minute to go. The field goal was incredibly close, but ruled no good on the field with no review.

Oklahoma State put itself into position after intercepting a Josh Barnett pass in Iowa State territory. Barnett's pass appeared to have been tipped at the line, setting up the Cowboys in prime-position to put the nail in the coffin.

But after three plays, Oklahoma State faced a fourth and one. After looking like they were going for it, Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy brought on the field goal unit, only to see the attempt go wide right.

We're headed to overtime in Ames with the Cowboys and Cyclones tied at 24.
