The Mississippi Rebels play out the season with head coach Houston Nutt leaving at the end of the season. The LSU Tigers will be a formidable opponent.
The LSU Tigers should have no issues on Saturday night when they visit the Mississippi Rebels. The Rebels are playing out the season with head coach Houston Nutt, who will officially be dismissed at the end of the season. He's led the Rebels to a 2-8 record this season and a 24-24 record in four seasons.
With Nutt on the way out and nothing much else to do about the team over the rest of the season, Ole Miss fans have found that the team's play calling is far too simple and rather laughable. The Rebels will be without quarterback Randall Mackey and running back Jeff Scott, further deepening the issues in Oxford.
LSU, meanwhile, should roll on through Oxford for an 11th victory on the season. Head coach Les Miles' press conference didn't offer much in the way of new material. But then, Ole Miss doesn't inspire much enthusiasm in anyone.
Game date, time: 7:00 pm ET, Saturday, Nov. 19
Location: Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, Oxford, MS
TV channel: ESPN
Spread: LSU favored by 29-1/2 points
Series history: LSU leads, 54-36-4
