The No. 23 Texas Longhorns host the No. 16 Kansas St. Wildcats in a prime time Big 12 match-up on Saturday night in Austin.
Kansas State is coming off a four overtime, 53-50 win over the Texas A&M, with quarterback Collin Klein plunging to the end zone from a yard out to give the Wildcats a win. For Klein, it was his fifth touchdown of the game and the 6-foot-5, 226-pound junior now has 24 rushing touchdowns to go along with his 1,009 rushing yards on the season. Klein is also completing 58.9 percent of his pass attempts for 1,504 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Saturday night will be the final home game of the season, and the final home game in the careers of the Longhorn's senior players. The 6-3 Longhorns are 0-2 against ranked opponents this season and are coming off a 17-5 loss to Missouri. Texas has started three different quarterbacks this season, though David Ash has handled the starting duties as of late. Starting running back Fozzy Whittaker leads the team in all-purpose yardage and scoring, while backup running back Malcolm Brown has a team-high 635 rushing yards.
