It's snowing in Pullman, which isn't huge news, though it makes for a fun game. Before the half, the weather was cold and clear, then pandemonium broke loose. WSU and Utah emerged from the tunnel to a winter wonderland. Within the span of about 15 minutes, the field was covered, leaving crews with snow shovels to feebly battle Mother Nature.
If we've learned anything, it's that fighting the weather in a situation like this is not advisable. But they tried .. boy did they try. What were the results of shoveling the yard lines? Nothing good. Nothing good at all.
It was a great idea, but the execution just didn't happen here. Indecision is always costly in the world of snow shoveling. The poor guy started a yard or two on the wrong side of the 50, then tried to cover his mess by slowly working towards the right spot, hoping nobody would notice.
Snow bowls are, and always will be, the best.
