BCS Rankings, Week 13: SEC West Alone At The Top

Stay connected with SB Nation

In this week's BCS rankings, it's the SEC West and everyone else. Thanks to a wild series of events on Friday and Saturday, the top-three spots belong to the SEC this week, with LSU leading the way again. And if the rankings hold, we're on a collision course with a rematch in the BCS Championship.

Alabama is at No. 2 this week after Oklahoma State fell on Friday night. Lurking just behind the Crimson Tide is Arkansas, who has quietly crept up the BCS Standings throughout the year.

In all likelihood, the SEC's reign at the top will be short-lived, thanks to this week's matchup between LSU and Arkansas. Something has to give, and someone has to lose, shaking up the standings one more. And, of course, there's the Iron Bowl, which has the potential to throw off the rankings even more. But for now, it's a pretty impressive showing by the SEC West.

Here's a look at where the SEC stands in this week's rankings.

1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Arkansas
12. South Carolina
13. Georgia
24. Auburn
