We were all ready for a Bedlam matchup with huge BCS implications. It seemed inevitable, even after Oklahoma tripped up earlier in the season with a loss to Texas Tech. The Sooners were still hanging around and Oklahoma State continued to roll, setting up one huge matchup to end the Big 12 slate.
And then last weekend happened. On Friday night, Oklahoma State's undefeated record went by the wayside after a surprising loss to Iowa State. The Cowboys looked poised to meet LSU in the BCS Championship, but fell flat one week before bedlam.
Come Saturday, it was Oklahoma's turn, with Robert Griffin III doing the damage. A prolific passing night and wild series to end the game led to a Baylor win, and Oklahoma's second loss of the season. So much for Bedlam.
Still, when the BCS Rankings were released on Sunday, Oklahoma State found itself at No. 4, behind the three SEC West teams. Oklahoma was also hanging around, staying just inside the top-10. While Bedlam doesn't quite have the same luster, it's still a matchup of top-10 teams.
Here's a look at where the Big 12 stands this week.
4. Oklahoma State
9. Oklahoma
11. Kansas State
18. Baylor
25. Texas
