The seventh-ranked Houston Cougars attempt to improve to 12-0, clinch the Conference USA West Division and avenge a November 2010 loss when they visit the 8-3 (7-0 C-USA) Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Friday morning.
Senior quarterback Case Keenum continues to pad his Heisman Trophy resume, leading the NCAA in every major passing category this season and becoming the all-time leader in passing yards (17,855), total offense (18,771), touchdown passes (145), completions (1,427) and tying the all-time record for 300-yard passing games with 36.
The Golden Hurricane also have a prolific quarterback, with senior G.J. Kinne throwing for 2,700 yards and 24 touchdowns this season, including a 21-of-27 for 300 yards and three touchdown effort against UTEP that earned him Conference USA Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors. Kinne is over 9,000 passing yards and 10,000 total offense yards in his career.
