By his ridiculous standards, Case Keenum's stats were not ridiculously shocking against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, but he still had a spectacular day. His 457 yards passing and five touchdown passes helped the Houston Cougars to a dominant performance, as they defeated Tulsa by a final score of 48-16.
With their 12th win of the season, Houston not only stay in the hunt for a BCS bowl bid, but clinch first place in the Conference USA West. They'll likely play Southern Miss in the C-USA Title game, but Marshall could still sneak into the game if Southern Miss loses and they defeat ECU.
Tulsa came into this game 7-0 in the conference with a chance to play spoiler, and for a while it appeared like they just might do it. They led for a long period of time in the first half and went into halftime trailing by just three, as Houston led 13-10. The Cougars offense ran riot in the second half, however, while Tulsa turned the ball over three times.
