Arkansas Vs. LSU Final Score: SEC Championship Awaits Tigers

Stay connected with SB Nation

The LSU Tigers have punched their tickets to the Georgia Dome. That's the kind of thing people say, though they probably haven't even printed those tickets yet. LSU crushed the Arkansas Razorbacks, 41-17, in the de facto SEC Western Division title game, and will advance to play the Georgia Bulldogs in Atlanta.

LSU dominated on the ground and won the special teams battle while keeping Tyler Wilson largely bottled up. Kenny Hilliard broke 100 yards, Michael Ford and Spencer Ware combined for 143, and Wilson mustered only 199.

Tyrann Mathieu gets the game ball, because if you tried to give it to anybody else he'd just take it anyway. He peeled off a 92-yard punt return touchdown that gave LSU the momentum for good, forcing two fumbles and adding seven tackles.

The Tigers will be favored against UGA and are now 60 minutes away from playing for the national championship. They're probably already in the title game no matter what happens, but a win against the Dawgs would make it official.
