The Boston College Golden Eagles picked off Jacory Harris four times and the Miami Hurricanes season ended with a disappointing 24-17 loss on Friday.
BC's Luke Kuechly ran an interception back for a touchdown and became Boston College's all-time tackles leader with 184. He broke his own record of 183, set last season.
Miami did get one victory on the day. They announced that head coach Al Golden had signed a four-year contract extension, squashing speculation that he would be leaving for Penn State and ensuring some form of stability following an unstable season.
BC quarterback Chase Rettig led way for Eagles, throwing two touchdown passes to Chris Pantale.
Lamar Miller had a 79-yard touchdown run for Miami, which was the longest carry by a Hurricane since 2000.
Harris' four interceptions tied a career-worst. A rough way to end his college career. The Canes finish the season 6-6 while the Eagles end up 4-8.
