Georgia puts its nine-game win streak on the line against Georgia Tech on Saturday in a matchup of intrastate rivals with Top 25 rankings.
Both Georgia and Georgia Tech are ranked for the first time since 2008, entering into this big intrastate rivalry game.
After losing its first two games of the season, No. 13 Georgia has been on a tear. The Bulldogs have won nine straight games and clinched the SEC East and a spot in the conference title game last week with a win against Kentucky. All that's left for the Dawgs to do in the regular season is win this matchup in Atlanta on Saturday.
The No. 25 Yellow Jackets (8-3, 5-3 ACC) have had a strong season as well, led once again by their rushing attack, which enters this game ranked No. 2 in the nation with 323.5 yards per game. But unlike the Bulldogs, Georgia Tech has stumbled a bit downthe stretch, losing three of its last five games including a losses to Virginia Tech and Virginia which dropped the Yellow Jackets out of contention for a spot in the ACC title game.
