Cincinnati took a four point lead over Syracuse at the half on Saturday, as they fight to keep their Big East title and BCS hopes alive. With quarterback Zach Collaros out for the season, a late touchdown pass from Munchie Legaux put Cincinnati on top 10-6 heading into the locker room at the Carrier Dome.
Legaux was 11 for 16 in first half for 94 yards. He capped the 71 yard scoring drive with a two yard pass to Travis Kelce on a short yardage crossing route. The drive was highlighted by three straight screen passes as Butch Jones and tries to manage the game with his new quarterback. In what was largely an uneventful field goal fest, the Bearcats will get the second half kick off looking to extend their lead and keep their BCS chances alive.
