Ohio State Vs. Michigan Final Score: Denard Robinson Shatters Losing Streak

Stay connected with SB Nation

Did you know it had been 2,924 days since the Michigan Wolverines had beaten the Ohio St. Buckeyes? It had been 2,924 days. That's how many days it had been, in case you hadn't read that anywhere. Surely you had. Welp, it's now been 365 days since Ohio State has beaten Michigan.

The final score was 40-34, and Denard Robinson was your hero. He nearly scored his sixth touchdown with two minutes to go, which would've put the game out of distance, but penalties reduced his offense's effort to a field goal. The nearly as impressive Braxton Miller stared down the oft-chaotic Michigan secondary with 100,000 hearts to break.

Miller had at least one chance to hit a wide-open DeVier Posey for the go-ahead score, but a tipped ball landed in the opposing side's hands, and that was that.

The Wolverines are 10-2 and in the argument for a BCS at-large bid, and Brady Hoke is 1-0 in the only game that matters in his jurisdiction.
