Penn State Vs. Wisconsin Score: With Big Ten Berth On Line, Badgers Storm Back

Stay connected with SB Nation

Sure, Penn State was the first team to put up a touchdown in the Nittany Lions' showdown with Wisconsin. But it generally takes more than seven points to defeat Russell Wilson and Co.

And it will today. Wisconsin has since stormed back with 14 unanswered points to take its first lead of the game. Wilson hasn't done much running so far, but he's 8-of-11 for 93 yards and a touchdown early in the second quarter. Montee Ball has been doing most of the rushing, picking up 45 yards and a touchdown on his first 11 carries of the game.

Aside from a 44-yard touchdown pass early in the game, Matt McGloin hasn't been asked to do much for Penn State, and that's pretty much what the quarterback has done. He's 2-of-5 for 13 yards otherwise. Silas Redd has 26 yards rushing on five carries.

The winner of the game plays in the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game against Michigan State.
