Remember when Missouri and Kansas used to play in high-scoring affairs, or at least decent-scoring affairs, like a 36-28 showdown in 2007, or a 40-37 clash in 2008, or a 41-39 shootout in 2009? Yeah, that's probably not going to happen this year. Kansas leads the game 10-0 early.
We're early in the second quarter, sure, but the two teams combined have yet to break the 200-yard mark. The teams have already thrown four interceptions -- three of those belonging to James Franklin, who has a quarterback rating of 11.6 -- and there's been a single offensive play of more than 20 yards so far. Kansas' Rell Lewis has caught one pass -- for minus-7 yards.
The scores for Kansas are one of those interceptions -- returned 57 yards by Bradley McDougald and a 33-yard field goal.
