Purdue Vs. Indiana Score: Boilermakers On Upset Alert For Bowl Eligibility

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Purdue Boilermakers need a win this week to ensure that they are bowl eligible. Their opponent, the Indiana Hoosiers, has only won once in the past 11 weeks ... but the Big Ten's cellar dweller currently leads 14-10 over the visiting Boilermakers.

The Hoosiers running game is better than usual this weekend thanks to a big run from Stephen Houston. The sophomore broke free for a 52-yard touchdown midway through the first quarter to break a scoreless tie and has now picked up 70 yards on four carries. D'Angelo Roberts later added a rushing touchdown of his own and Mitch Ewald kicked through a field goal to give the Hoosiers their current lead.

The Boilermakers' first score of the game came when Caleb TerBush connected with Antavian Edison for a 14-yard touchdown. Carson Wiggs kicked a 29-yard to finish the Purdue scoring summary thus far.
