BCS Rankings, Week 14: Stanford Moves To No. 4; Oregon Creeps To No. 9

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Pac-12 is still on the path to have two BCS teams in 2011 after the Week 14 BCS standings came out. The Oregon Ducks are playing in the Pac-12 Championship Game against the UCLA Bruins and should, in most possibilities, win the game, taking the conference's BCS bid to the Rose Bowl. The Ducks checked in at No. 9 in the rankings this week, a one-spot move up. They defeated the Oregon St. Beavers in the Civil War, 49-21.

The Stanford Cardinal, on the other hand, will look for a BCS automatic bid as a result of being the No. 4 team this week. Since the Cardinal is not playing in the Pac-12 title game, Stanford has no control on the field to move up or down in the polls. But if somehow Virginia Tech or Houston does enough to move up in the computers or the Coaches or Harris polls, Stanford could be move out of an automatic BCS bid.

The Pac-12 teams in the top 25:

4. Stanford
9. Oregon
