The Seminoles managed to find the end zone, however, but did so thanks to a miscue by Boston College, leading to a turnover and excellent field position.
Florida State scored on a two-play drive that spanned all of two yards in the first, punching it in on an EJ Manuel touchdown pass to Bert Reed. Manuel is 3-of-4 for 36 yards through one quarter. He's also the Seminoles leading rusher with seven carries for 15 yards.
