PHOTO: Rick Neuheisel Carried Off Practice Field By His Players
This was it for Rick Neuheisel. No matter what happens on Friday in the Pac-12 Championship, Neuheisel will not be back as the UCLA Bruins head coach. He's already been fired, though he will coach one last game, against the Oregon Ducks with a trip to the Rose Bowl on the line.
Wednesday was Neuheisel's final practice with the Bruins, a tough moment for the fired head coach. From Johnathan Gold:
You have got to say this about Rick Neuheisel: He cares about UCLA. He is genuinely broken down right now. Hard to see.
