Jeff Jagodzinski Interviewed For Tulane Football Coaching Job, According To Report

Stay connected with SB Nation

Former Boston College Eagles head coach Jeff Jagodzinski has interviewed for the vacant Tulane Green Wave job, according to the Times-Picayune. The report also confirms the earlier report of Mike Leach and Rich Rodriguez being considered, adding Tommy Bowden's name as well. Why not!

Jagodzinski has worked on the coaching staffs of the Packers, Falcons and Buccaneers, but is best known for leading BC to a 20-8 record, winning two ACC division titles and posting a top-10 finish during Matt Ryan's final year. He was fired after interviewing for a job with the Jets. Most recently, he coached the UFL's Omaha Nighthawks.

Boston College fans at BC Interruption are pulling for him, because if they can't have him, well, somebody should:

I hope Jagodzinski gets the job. As we have said here plenty of times, he did a great job here at BC. Maybe a change of scenery will do him good.
