The Ducks are 7-1 on the season, but will be attempting to remain undefeated in the Pac-12, where they're averaging 45.6 points per game. Led by LaMichael James, Kenjon Barner and freshman De'Anthony Thomas, the Ducks are averaging 309.2 yards per game on the ground. In addition to 340 rushing yards, Thomas leads the Ducks with 25 receptions for 382 yards and six touchdowns and averages 24.4 yards per kick return, including a 93-yard touchdown last week against the Washington State Cougars.
Washington has a solid running game, too, with junior Chris Polk gaining 1,016 yards with nine touchdowns. Polk was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week after becoming the first player in school history to have 100 yards and 100 yards receiving in the same game. Polk also tied the school record with five touchdowns (four rushing, one receiving) in the Huskies' 42-31 win over the Arizona Wildcats.
